About BreAnna Schwartz
I am running for Judge of the 497th District Court in Harris County in the 2026 election, as a native Houstonian with deep roots in this community and a lifelong commitment to justice.

From a young age, I knew I wanted to be an attorney working within the criminal justice system. That early passion led me to law school with a clear goal: to serve the people of Harris County with fairness, integrity, and compassion.

I began my career as a prosecutor with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, gaining trial experience and a firsthand understanding of the complexities of our justice system.

In 2021 I chose to begin working as a criminal defense attorney, with a focus on appellate and post-conviction writs. This experience has given me a unique and balanced perspective—one that I believe is essential for a judicial bench.

My campaign is about serving the citizens of Harris County in a way that is informed and rooted in real experience. I am committed to upholding the law with impartiality and respect for every individual who comes before the court.

I look forward to connecting with you and sharing more about my vision for the 497th District Court. Your support means everything as we continue to work toward a more equitable justice system for all in Harris County.
